Almost three years after Alex Mercer's new birth, Prototype 2 is about to introduce us to a whole new main character going by the name of James Heller. Not much has changed in this sequel, which basically means it is still a rather entertaining game with a few flaws. The lack of novelties will probably one of them for some, as most missions are very similar to those of the first opus, repetitive gameplay - though undeniably fun - could be another one for others. The graphics have been improved over the first Prototype but they are still way behind other open-world games, inFamous 2 being the first one that comes to mind. Here are a few gameplay videos showing extracts from the first hour of gameplay.
it's hard to argue that it's not a great deal. Now i'd rather wait for Fifa and other EA games to get to the vault. (58 minutes ago)
After I bought the XB1 I wanted to get BF4. Between paying 30€ for the game or getting EA Access for the same price the choice wasn't hard. I got BF + a bunch of games. and they're still offering. (1 Hour ago)

So, who is the target demographic? (1 Hour ago)
But.. if you're a hardcore fan of those titles you're not waiting 8 months for them.. so.. that's not really the target demographic. (1 Hour ago)
Not that I have EA access myself, but to echo KORNdog's statement, for it to have maximum value, you'd have to like quite a handful of EA titles. Mostly their sports ones. (1 Hour ago)
