Almost three years after Alex Mercer's new birth, Prototype 2 is about to introduce us to a whole new main character going by the name of James Heller. Not much has changed in this sequel, which basically means it is still a rather entertaining game with a few flaws. The lack of novelties will probably one of them for some, as most missions are very similar to those of the first opus, repetitive gameplay - though undeniably fun - could be another one for others. The graphics have been improved over the first Prototype but they are still way behind other open-world games, inFamous 2 being the first one that comes to mind. Here are a few gameplay videos showing extracts from the first hour of gameplay.
@b0vril: Yeah i agree. Although i do think Begins and TDK are prolly still cool. TDK mostly thanks to Joker. Rises was already a bit of a disappointment after second viewing. (25 minutes ago)
@Sdarts: Thanks! Still on the fence on the launch. Have a voucher for GMG. (28 minutes ago)
@ScarJack: Indeed, Spec Ops: The Line is one of those games that stick with you. Such a shame it never sold as well as it deserved when it came out. (41 minutes ago)
@b0vril: The third movie is basically a by-the-book super hero film, tropes and all. (43 minutes ago)
@b0vril: Dated in commentary on vigilantism? Iron Man 2 was almost about to talk about alcoholism as it's a major thing in the comics, but nope glosses over it entirely in one fell swoop. (51 minutes ago)
