Almost three years after Alex Mercer's new birth, Prototype 2 is about to introduce us to a whole new main character going by the name of James Heller. Not much has changed in this sequel, which basically means it is still a rather entertaining game with a few flaws. The lack of novelties will probably one of them for some, as most missions are very similar to those of the first opus, repetitive gameplay - though undeniably fun - could be another one for others. The graphics have been improved over the first Prototype but they are still way behind other open-world games, inFamous 2 being the first one that comes to mind. Here are a few gameplay videos showing extracts from the first hour of gameplay.

Still.. fun dungeons w/ groups. (25 minutes ago)
@Moonwalker: I haven't played Neverwinter for a while. It was a pretty simple MMO but I thought it was pretty okay for a F2P game at the time. I think the F2P market has grown quite a bit since then. (25 minutes ago)
Neverwinter was supposed to be playable on X1 @ 10 AM PST, which should be 18:00 here, which it is. Not playable yet tho. (38 minutes ago)
I'm tempted to blame the YEBIS middleware for the optical filter. (3 Hours ago)
@Melmoth: I agree that framerate is more important, but it's also a little disappointing that consoles aren't up to spec with our TVs. But.. oh well. (3 Hours ago)
on another note. I'm having trouble with my vision while playing Bloodborne. It's like my eyes are just jumping around the picture and they can't pick up pick up things quickly. (3 Hours ago)
