2K Games have just sent us this new developer diary of XCOM: Enemy Unknown focusing on the art style of the game. Let us remind you that this is an attempt at expanding the franchise to a more action/strategy oriented level.
LOVE the art style, not impressed by what they have shown gameplay wise so far, especially when all they talk about is graphics / ant base / and what they ripped from my favorite game to give there game some sort atmosphere
and taken away multiple bases was LAME, shows how much shallower this game will be in terms of gameplay, losing a base in original, put that more pressure on you and , it was great to instead of being game over you had multiple bases to fall back on giving that more open ended gameplay, what i feel this game is going to lack
Absolutely enthralled by this game. Never played the old games but I wish I did back in the day because I could totally see the old installments being in my favorite games of all time. I mean a turn based alien invasion... it doesn't get better than that.
