I like how they gave the secrets to even their easter eggs.

If you were born in the 80s, I've got hugs for you.

Now this is what I remember how games used to be, both in terms of idea and genre, and how devs actually gave a flying fuck about what they were making and the little details that went into a game. It's ironic that a game with such old school elements and inspirations can seem so refreshing and original in modern gaming. Must be all that FPS overkill. Regardless, I'm actually more excited for this now than most other things to come. Any game that takes the atmosphere from Flashback as inspiration is a must have. I'm getting this.

As I was watching this I was just thinking to myself what a shame that the Spanish dev didn't choose to set it in Barcelona or Madrid, somewhere beautiful. Then right on cue, the devs say 'we set it in America because that's where everything else is set'. What a bizarre way to think, and what a missed opportunity.

The success of Journey proves that originality can sell, you don't have to follow the herd.

Oh and another zombie game? Excuse me while I fall asleep. Someone wake me when The Last Guardian or Ni no Kuni come out.
