ROFL that screen reminds me a certain track on the first RatM-Album. And i think the screens are pretty good (maybe too good to be true). PC ? Looks like they implemented the R6 Vegas cover system, the body postures do look weird at times though... :-/
He looks pissed, about to bull charge something.
What the exploding limbs? The headshots look great, but if an arm flies off everytime I hit an enemy, it will be kind lame. I could see once in a great while, but I think some nice body damage/holes/wounds/decals would be better than arms and legs flying off everywhere. Then again I have never been shot by a sniper rifle, so maybe this is realistic....
Funny how the best game this year so far is Journey, a game with no death, no violence, and no guns or soldiers. Amazing what you can do if you use your brain.
The exploding limb stuff is truly repulsive. Is that really what people want to pay money to see? I in no way approve of censorship, but whoever approved the development of this stuff needs to seek psychiatric help, urgently.

Sorry, but thats just how it works, getting shot by higher cal. weapons. Limbs are just flying. Dont know, if every kind of sniper rifl will rip off some part of the body in this game, but TBH,....thinking, that every sniper shot leads only to a small hole on entry wound, is just naive. Sorry. No offense, just trying to say, that not everything is as pretty as people think.
"It's not real enough, we need the limbs intact" jeez. Why care
That's as may be, war is hell etc, but anyone who wants to pay money to see that recreated in a game is mentally disturbed. It's just not normal.
I dont think its about some mental disorder. For example,....maybe You played latest Medal of Honor. There also were disturbing moments, when You fired RPG between three terrorists, they have been damaged pretty badly. Its just a realistic point of view, developers decided to follow.
I think, that most people want the game to show things as real as possible. There is no war without death and disturbing images.
You dont have to be mentally disordered to create real images and so You dont have to be mentally disordered, if You want to play this game.
I just dont agree with You.
Are TV reporters in war theaters mentally disturbed, when they are taking pictures of dead people? No.
And of course, thats why they put those 18+ icons on covers, warning customers, that they can expect this kind of content inside. So anyone, who feels disturbed with similar scenes, can just skip this game or turn the gore off.
I want games look real and I want to see, how effective every weapon is and I really dont feel mentally disordered. I dont see any drama in this at all.
But again....I understand to Your initial idea. But if everyone would think this way, then we would have the censorship on everything. Dont You think so?
if you want a game where limbs don't get blown off, but you still get to kill someone (and you can feel good about it)...
but yea Sniper V Elite is on another level, superb game that
