Risen 2: Dark Waters is now available on PC, console owners being forced to wait a few more months, and we took a bit of our precious weekend time to capture a few gameplay videos for you guys. Once gain, Piranha Bytes' new game suffers from quite a few technical issues (pop-in mostly, but also framerate issues on my PC - i5 3.2 Ghz, RAM: 8 Go, Geforce GTX 570) but there is something definitely appealing in being a pirate. The videos were captured using Fraps at 60 fps thanks to Miguel's new comp (i7 5 Ghz, RAM 16 Go, two Geforce GTX 680) so big thanks to him. Update: Images added.
If noise is your target.. an aftermarket 980 cooler is a good buy. My fans don't even spin when the card is idle. (1 Hour ago)
you can have a good quiet setup that is balanced, but which can be non-optimal with another gpu. (1 Hour ago)
depends on what your preferences are. noise level or performance (1 Hour ago)
Hence the "decent case" part :) (1 Hour ago)
@GriftGFX: if you've got barely adequate case-cooling going from rear to internal exhaust on the gpu there will be a noticable increase in ambient temperature. A very good vented case, not so much. (1 Hour ago)
