Looks jaw dropping. I'd need to play the MP to see if it is a worthy addition, because i can't say it is a feature i've been gagging for in the GOW franchise. But i thought the same about the uncharted 2 MP announcement. Could be throw away, could be a nice alternative to the shooters that rule the online space. Looks cool as hell tho as an idea.

I'm looking forward to this one, shows there is plenty life in current consoles from a graphics standpoint. Can't wait to see what the single player looks like.

Ummm... this is not very impressive.

2nd quarter 2013? Why even bother making PS3 the lead development platform on this with PS4 so close to the release date? Not saying don't do a PS3 version, there are 50/60 million people who have a PS3. Just saying this game should have been developed from the ground up for the PS4, and then ported to PS3; not the other way around.

Still a day one purchase, just that I would have preferred it to be a day one purchase for my PS4 instead. And yes I know there will a very good chance for a PS4 version. But with PS3 being the lead platform, the PS4 version will be nothing more than a port of the PS3 version, instead of a next gen title from the ground up. Everyone did a lot of that at the start of this gen, and I was not impressed with the results.

You are assuming PS4 will even be out in 2013...i think PS4 will be ANNOUNCED in 2013, released in 2014 (in US and EU). In which case, they are better off getting some use out of the engine they created from scratch for the PS3. If they didnt they would have made one of the most impressive engines on consoles and only used it ONCE. Bit of a waste.

You dont have to believe anyone, but it IS an incredible looking game...and this is just the MP. Still looks like the character models wont be touched on consoles. Kratos is sill the best looking character to date. Less polys then drake, but used much better. It's why GOW3 often looks like CGi. Combined with the MLAA and motion blur. Game is a visual orgasm....

Looks very good and this is only from MP, SP should push the spectacle far further...Last of Us should take the crown for consoles visuals this autumn, so interesting to see if this can pass it. Can believe we will get two GoW games before blooming FF versus........

How do you which one has more triangles? That 80k is bullcrap no one would dedicate 10% triangle count on one model + It would render micropolys which would stress system significantly more without any return.

Screw FFvs. What about last guardian...i fear if that doesnt show its face again this year at either E3 or TGS, then i think it's safe to assume it's a canned project. If that happens it'll be the worst news of the generation imo.

Very close to pulling a COD here, luckily Kratos is THE MAN.

From what i've read over the years, kratos is ~20,000 tris, drake (uncharted 2) is ~37,000 tris. 2 amazing looking character models, but kratos manages to pull off far more with far less.

A shame this is treated like a CoD or some shooter in wich they show MP images lols.

Still think GoW3 looked better than this and thats probably cause this MP stuff is not that great to begin with.

looking worse than GoW3, but either way, I see this as a Multiplayer cash-in with a lesser SP effort than the previous game. There is a reason why "4" isn't in the name.

Hardly looks average...GoW3 is still one of the best looking games out there, and the MP stuff looks close to that. SP will be an improvement

I love the cinematic faction related stuff they've talked about. How if you are a follower of hades, when you die your body will be snatched down into hell, and when you respawn you will climb back out. Or how the begining of the MP mode has you fighting a losing battle, being taken to mount olympus, and pledging aliegience to one of 4 gods...Just little touches like that make it all the more impressive. Most of the impressions i've read have stated how they didnt even know what they where watching initially, whether it was single player, co-op...most believing it to be the latter....only realising it was a 4 on 4 deathmatch when they told them the enemies where player controlled... testemant to how great it looks i guess.

I want this game now. Surprising how a little bit of footage can spark interest in you even after playing all 5 prior titles not too long ago. Somehow the idea seems fresh again. Last of us should be first tho, which i'm slightly more excited about. Bring em on.

the multiplayer from what i seen looks great and could be really addictive with both teams fighting to get the the cyclops closer for the game kill
