As promised, here are a bunch of videos of Max Payne 3 captured with a retail version of the game. Though the tiny crosshair does not always make it easy to aim (more than once we found ourselves looking for it on the screen), playing this third installment in the franchise is a lot of fun. Max is still Max, which means he comes with some serious baggage and he kills a lot of bad guys. There is a slight change in terms of atmosphere but the story is as dark as ever. A very good action game in the end, but we were surprised to see so many cutscenes, as we're not sure the hardcore fans will enjoy having to sit and watch quite regularly, instead of simply playing.
@digi_matrix: VFX clearly stands out.. lacks visual fidelity/image quality in other areas. It really excels at the stuff that translates well in an animated GIF or a Youtube video. (13 minutes ago)
@aphex187: @b0vril: I don't know, Quantum Break's effects look great to me [url] (17 minutes ago)
Too bad Quantum Break will only be out in 2050. Yep that's what he said! [url] (41 minutes ago)
@b0vril: I wasn't impressed either by the graphics, game looks like it's going to be good though and I kinda love the dev involved :D (1 Hour ago)
