So pumped for this, holy shit. Looks fantastic. So much sharper and more vibrant than the last game, and the attention to detail is awesome.

i need this game. i just wish they'd have bumped up the online co-op to 6 players. then all my workmates could get in on the action, as it is we're going to have to ditch 2 of them...lol.

For since the last year, people were clamoring Diablo 3 as savior to PC gaming. With a bad launch and confusing decisions, look what has come to Blizzard now.

On-topic, I didn't know Anthony Burch (Hey Ash, Whatcha Playing) is writing this game. Means there'll be an actual plot to the game!

What? It didn't need saving. PC market has been expanding for years. Also, Blizzard sold 6+ million copies and the game holds a pretty respectable metacritic score.

ALSO.. what has come to Blizzard now came to them years ago, potentially before merging with Activision, although that certainly sealed their fate.

LOL and who cares bout that ? Game was cleary made to put even more $$$ into BLizzs pockets. Thats why real money AH aint up yet. They just want people to realize how ridiculous inferno is then they'll pay to get stuff ( and a small fee flies to Blizz ) This game is pure buisness and got very little to offer as an actual game.

I have to ask what makes Borderlands such a beloved game/ franchise? I Never played the first because my PS3 yloded on me and I refuse to pay for Gold. Is it even still worth playing the first?

It was the de facto game every PC gamer was shouting in any forum for what would be GOTY 2012.

It may just be a shooter but it's nice to see something which actually has it's own art style and stands out from the crowd. I wish more devs would, or could do the same.

Visual style alone almost sells this for me.

Sure.. but the things hardly a flop, and it's not like there's nothing else to play. Some people (myself included) aren't so hot on the game, but I don't think Blizzard really has that much reason to care what I think.

I'd rather be playing Borderlands 2. Which should be one of the better PC games this year too.

You're not wrong. It is very much Auction House: The Game. I'm just sayin. Plenty of people like it and Blizzard is sitting pretty. It's not some disaster for anyone in my opinion.

It's more than a shooter. It's a shooter with Claptraps.

The fact You "have" to pay for every single piece of outifit, weapon, map etc Its not disaster for anyone ( refering to all crap DLCs) isnt a big disaster for people as well. And this is where we are today. AH is just another step into gamers hell.

Hm, why do they upscale 720p screenshots to 1080p? Looks quite blury.

There's no such thing as a respectable metacritic score...

The textures don't really look like an update from the first game. And that UE3 lighting is really starting to show its age.

Moonwalker I wonder what the other three character slots are for in MGS5. (47 minutes ago)

GriftGFX BF4 still looks amazing @ 1440p and g-synced 144hz. I played some COD4 last night directly before playing BF4 Night Ops. It's like time travel. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 1440p is pretty good too, but sure. I've been looking at 4K screens to replace my work display, but I'd probably keep playing most games on the gaming panel. (1 Hour ago)
  • scoobs0688
scoobs0688 Probably have to deal with 4K/60fps in the more demanding titles. Sigh. (1 Hour ago)
  • scoobs0688
scoobs0688 @GriftGFX: i mean you could play at 144hz in games that really need it (CSGO/BF4/etc.) I'm talking about more demanding new games like TW3 (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX yeah but lol 60hz.. that's some console peasantry now ;) (1 Hour ago)
