Page 1 2 >>EA got jokes ...
Looks fantastic graphically, but just looking for something a bit more unique these days.
Seriously, would it kill a developer to take this exact same engine, and create a paced, tactical shooter with one hit kills, squad mate skills, open world style battlefields, and a variety of ways to approach the situations? I know most people love the excitement of linear, corridor shooters with fast paced shootemup gameplay and explosive set pieces, but I would think at this point, some of those people HAVE To be getting tired of the cookie cutter gameplay.........right?..........RIGHT????
Huh, actually not as bad as I thought. Graphics, sound, and physics are quite well done, despite the copy paste gameplay of every shooter for the last 5 years.

You want a military tactical shooter? I dont even want military. Use this awesome engine, but make something friggin unique with it. Or set it in a different time period, or location, or planet, or dimention.... I physically and mentally cannot handle another game that looks as fucking uninspired as this, i just can't...
It's like, why havnt we gotten a republic commando sequel yet? Or something similar? It was a first person shooter, centred around shooting guys in the face, it was fast paced, it was cinematic, it was linear, scripted...but at least it wasnt another brown modern warfare themed shooter.

Embarassing level design, slow-mo, aim assist, regenerating health, blood on screen and all the COD things you can get. Welcome to gaming 2012, pal.
Looks nice, but that's about as far as the compliments can go really.
I liked this series when it was about World War 2
pretty much...generic military shooter # 5929923422343

Back when everything was generic WWII military shooter.
I would happily suck off the EA CEO for a WW2 shooter right about now...rather then THIS modern military cookie cutter POS.
Why not just buy the 100's of WW2 games out there? Save you dishing out blowjobs.
People dont know wtf they want anymore.
I for one think having 3 franchises doing modern is good for those who want it and devs are good at it.
And leave the rest of devs go for more creative way, sci fi.
Though I dont mind if one of these franchises like BF, MoH and COd would go heavy sci fi.
Once it was WW2, people got sick and tired, now its modern, people are sick of it.

Have you played ArmA games?
After seeing how stunning ARMA III looks though, I will definitely be upgrading my PC for it once it hits. ARMA is honestly the ONLY game series out there that retains any semblance of a tactical, realistic military simulation. RIP OP: FP, R6, GR, SC, BIA, etc. etc. etc......
