I played it at E3. The level they picked to showcase was bad. It was all bathed in blue and teal. With all that, it was still a huge bag of AWESOME!

The only thing I didn't like (besides the aforementioned mono color palette) was now you can upgrade anywhere by hitting the pause menu. No more hunting down "the shop". I kind of liked the character of the shop keeper.

Could you guys upload an mp4 version of the trailer too please? Actually for the last week you stopped uploading mp4 versions of the trailers. Pretty please?

The snow level? thats my favorite level they have showned so far.

From E3 the animation of Death appeared to be a little stiff, but I still want this game badly.

death's voice is so off in this, but wars was the same...the character and voices just dont seem to gel very well.

... really need to play the first game ...

i think what it is to is that everyone has this private perception of what the four horsemen are suppose to sound and look like in their own heads and these guys representation just can't live up to it ... it was like that EA game, Dante's Inferno ...

It's not that deafwing. It's just that this entire generation of artists that create characters in games where inspired by Iron Maiden cover art and 80s horror movies when it comes to depicting hell. It's just so lame. Maybe if I grew up on cheesy horror films and death/speed/heavy/etc. metal I'd love what it looks like, but their depiction of hell and evil has always been so cartoonish and laughable while trying to aspire towards real fear and dread.

Odd since I'm of the opposite mind. War had an effusive and gruff tone that simply made him badass and from what little I've heard of Death it seems the approach is unchanged.

Whilst clearly not as hoarse as War's voice Death has his own ebullient effect, that's almost piercing with that ominous cool that seems to be written on the horsemens epitaph.

The first game was good but with some reservations, it kind of became a chore towards the end and lost the good pacing it began with but this one looks much improved. Also, Michael Wincott's voice work sounds great to me, fits the comic book style really well...
