E3 AWARDS WOOHOO! THEY MEAN SO MUCH!

Might be my imagination but it didn't seem to look half as pretty there as at E3. Looked early next-gen/late old-gen quality in some parts.

in terms of poly count and textures, sure, it isnt going to win any awards. but the amount of characters on-screen is impressive considering it's open world. but then again it's only having to render an open, empty field...so i guess it free's up memory for other things...so...erm...yeah...carry on.

I would say this is a major limitation of the consoles in general. If all gaming was on PC the engine may have been updated in the knowledge it is easy to upgrade a PC. Push the boundaries out a bit more so to speak.

Most open world games perform like crap on PC as well...GTAIV, Saints Row 3, Red Faction Guerilla....

Take a look at Red Dead Revolver...one of the best looking open world games and it's on 360 (PS3 version doesn't count! :P)

This game is using a new engine, so I find it hard to believe it's outdated before it has even been released yet.

skyrim managed it. that looked outdated as hell and that used a "new" engine too.

red dead made me throw up on my ps3, garbage flickering shadows during daytime, though i did enjoying playing it at night time, the terrain looked less messy, shame they never brought it to pc, no we just get gta4 /le bore garbage instead .. :(

Yeah the marketing of this game is all wrong, it's not at all what the game should be. Connor's meant to be neutral, right? But in trailers, he's only killed redcoats, American flags everywhere, and now using "amazing grace" as the trailer song. What's next, Connor has bald eagle helmet as DLC?

I like how in one sentence you both slam the American flag waving and then go on to seemingly act like video game violence matters now that it's the British being murdered by the player.

I'm not really bothered what sort of advertisment campaign they have. I do find it odd that there hasnt been a SINGLE american being killed tho in ANY of the promotional material they've released. At the minute all we have is their word that you kill both sides equally, just hope they stick to it.

From my understanding, the lack of Connor killing Americans stems more from plot twists than from anything else. It seems like Connor will likely be allied with the Americans early on (as everything we have seen has indicated), and then the game will reveal that the conspiracy is much larger than he anticipated, and also involves some of the founding fathers or something along those lines. Games typically keep some of that stuff under wraps you know?

And for all the whiners complaining that there are American flags, songs (BTW, Amazing Grace is actually an English hymn), and anthems, let's not forget that the game takes place on American soil, with the lead character being half "Native American", during the American revolution. If you hate Americans so much, this game might be a little too "American" for you. As one the despised ones, I could care less who I am killing as long as the story is decent and the gameplay is good. I also don't know any Americans that would give a damn who they are killing in a game like this, but feel free to keep your stereotypes and misconceptions if they help you sleep at night...

I'm pretty sure there is going to be a twist to the whole thing. Wouldn't just take it all at face value.

I think everyone needs to look up the actual history of what happened to any and all Native Americans before arguing which "side" they were on. Sheesh.
