After all the awesome gameplay we got from E3 from Gamersyde including the Direct Feed Gameplay Videos , this trailer is most welcome. Very well put together and as usual, great music. i doubt that would make much difference, going on how "profiled" is the music from all previous games, any decent composer could replicate the same soundtrack, but i'll bet a fresh take is better.

I would like to see some more gameplay as well, but this trailer....it gives me goosebumps. And that is a very good thing. Not to many games strive to get to you on a level like that, anymore most of them are "Here's this combo/ Here's this gory execution/ Here's this and that"...I like how this trailer was done, very much gets you in the mood to be an assassin. BUT....Personally I think Assassin's Creed is a story and setting that is ripe for a hollywood blockbuster and I'd like to see a well done full length movie as a result.

There are plenty of games that let you kill Americans if you are so interested in it. You will likely be only killing Brits in this game regardless, especially if most of the game takes place prior to the declaration of independence....

It's kinda screwed up that he WANTS to kill "Americans" though. I've certainly never wanted to kill any specific nationality. Even terrorists/insurgents( that involves differentiating between friendly locals), and I fought in Iraq. That's more a "have to" than a "want". Fight for whatever your motivation is better than just fighting to kill a specific kind person or nationality. I'd say that's a pretty big difference...

Yes, in the same way that someone saying I can't wait to kill some Muslims in a game taking place in the Middle East, or I can't wait to kill some blacks in a game taking place in the inner city would offend those groups of people. It has nothing to do with Patriotism and everything to do with it being wrong to blindly want to kill another group of people.

Look I realize this is just a game and all, but like I said, replace bluecoats (Americans) with any other race, sex, ethnicity, country, whatever, and you have an incredibly bigoted statement. Why would it be any different for this? I have never wanted to kill any specific race or nationality in a game, yet because everyone has this stereotyped negative view of Americans, it's perfectly ok. Let's start calling a spade a spade here, it is xenophobic and bigoted, and it usually comes from small, insecure people...
