That trailer is a little weird. On the one hand it's supposed to be a promotion video, directly out of the game's "world" where the animus actually exists. On the other hand it completely ignores the game's story, like that the Animus is actually some secret technology. And then it talks about game modes etc. like if it were some developer diary
I feel like the marketing team didn't really know where they wanted to go with this one.
They've had these Animus trailers before for the previous games' multiplayer but usually they were addressing the Templars. Him doing the game talk was jarring, I was expecting him to tell us to pre-order the game at the end in an equally cognitively dissonant manner.
