Page 1 2 >>This series really has the worst damn character design of anything ever.
At least its not Mortal Unreal Kombat where the women look like men most the time and everybody moves like Cyrax, (a robot, lol get it?)
But I gotta hand it to Namco's publicity staff. They lock some content on the disc, give the players the keys for free, and suddenly they're champions of justice, doing DLC the right way!
Tekken has that realistic approach to their characters were guys look like guys and women look like women without any extreme weirdness like huge tits and thighs.
Only exageration i see on Tekken, but yet isnt, is the guys muscles, but then again I am training to get fit myself so seeing guys like Kazuya and Jin is a pretty good insperation lol
My favorite has to be Kazuya interms of character design, he is pure badass, except that hair lol

The animal characters in here just look stupid. Game is definitely ugly, but that's not it's strength probably as it's getting good reviews.
And yes animals in fighting games? stupid.
You mean like that character we're watching in these vids that shakes her tits as celebration at the end of winning a match?

my problem with most fighting games in general is that they have started evolving (d-evolving) as slow as sports games and that pulls me away from them significantly ... you could say the same for a lot of other games to but I dont' want the cod trolls rimming me till the end of time so I'll keep my opinions to myself :-p
Explain yourself.)
Tekken characters look way more appealing than the doll DOA characters and Mortal Kombat's weird look (other than Scorpion and Sub Zero).
Tekken has always had odd character's tbh im surprised this series is still going. I dont know anyone who bothers with it now i guess the Japanese still buy these games.
As for the videos, i mean sure it's good that you ahve em but they are really a LONG way from what a proper game of Tekken should look like :)
Lol, the DOA5s (not talking from previous DOA titles) characters look way better than Tekken's action figure character styles IMO
But DOA5 looks WAY better than any other DOA so i am good with it hehe.

Unfortunately, I had no specialist with me to play properly.
Its a art direction preference, I like more realistic approach to them than doll-like.

Yeah, unless you have someone to teach you the game, getting in to it can be very tough. Either you have to sit down and break the game to pieces by your self of trudge through a shit ton of threads on forums and hope that you manage to single out the good info. Tekken is maybe a bit too complex for it's own good right now. I think that alienates a lot of people.
The fact that they are rolling in arcade money and have the best selling fighter available for consoles is totally irrelevant.
I'm sorry, but that isn't a good argument, as much as I like Tekken.

Seeing as how the game is huge in korean arcades and sells big numbers on consoles, i don't think i'm the only one that likes Tekken. Which is a very valid argument against "i don't like tekken. They should just stop making em"
