E3: Quake 4 - HD Trailer and 3 screens

Quake 4 time again. Raven reveals a full HD trailer, unveiling the main line of the scenario (yeah, there's one), along with 3 never seen before screenshots. Definitively, hum, pretty.

and anyone know if the engine does normal mapping, or jsut bump mapping?

looks pretty cool sofar... not amazing, though.

What do you mean by "troll?" Check my registration date if you will, I'm not troll.

The fact of the matter is, these graphics don't look very good for a next-gen game. They seem marginally better than those of DOOM 3 for Xbox. If you can't handle that opinion, which is shared by others, then you have a problem.

id's engine definately does normal mapping. I think it looks rather good, especially the outdoor scenes. Looks like it may play something like Riddick without all the stealth.

third version of trailer I have on my HDD ~~ 50 ~70 and now 25 MB - good work with compressing this one, qulity is v.nice

Doom_Bringer @GriftGFX: well Dragon age extracted is suppose to be arround 20 gigs but the download was only 8 gigs or 15 gigs...procedure might be different for newer games (5 Hours ago)

GriftGFX Steam appears to download extracted and installed, there's no install process once you finish downloading a game. (5 Hours ago)
Doom_Bringer D2D file right now is 9.2 GB's. I think it was less when I was downloading it (now its extracted) I am pretty sure Steam works the same way. 12 gb is probably the extracted size :P (5 Hours ago)
