GSY Tech PC PS4 Xbox One

We should have proposed analysis videos of the PS4 version of Batman: Arkham Knight a while ago, but for various reasons, they are only available now. The game was patched a few hours ago, and though we're not sure what has been fixed, Blim's plugin shows that Rocksteady's title can hold a steady 30 fps on PS4 despite a bit of tearing once in a while. As a bonus, we've added two gameplay videos showing new passages after playing a bit more than three hours. Don't worry though, they are completely spoiler free.

I can feel the frame drop during the gameplay. But the overall quality is very good.

The one I like most is that assets loading is not as annoying as some open-world games

Strange, I don't notice any framerate drops. It's been pretty much rock solid polished game...I say polished game, be interesting to see how it is without the 3 gig day 1 patch...

No idea what the latest patch did either, not noticed any difference...actually that's a lie, there's now a lot more rain...before in certain places you'd only really notice rain when high up, and not falling when walking around on the ground, now it's constantly falling regardless.

Tell you something, this is the only game other than P.T to actually give me a couple of jump scares. Weird it would be a batman game to do so.

Some side effects after playing Witcher 3 for 90 hours and coming to Batman:
1. I'm constantly trying to loot the bad guys after a fight. :)
2. Side missions seem already repetitive after 2 hours of playing.
3. Controlling the Batmobil is sometimes similarly hard as controlling Roach.

But technically the game is awesome.

Looks good and runs well.

Considering the ppl having problems with the PC version and it's 12man crew.

PS4 is the most polished version of all.

As for framerate on PS4.

I'll explain as many don't seem to understand.

APU, Combines both CPU/GPU - Many cores but at lower ghz. 1.6ghz+

GPU is more then enough to handle 1080p,60fps in some games.

CPU hitting 60fps is hard due to speed and complexity of said game.

This is the part most forget.

Sony on purpose, for reasons of cost and power went for a two prong connector, hence low output and no power brick.

A PC isn't one thing. It's a combination of many things that require money, power.

I use both. But for gaming they are both excellent.

During high speed chases, the framerate drops visibly on my PS4.
Same here. Chases and areas with rioters....notice a dip. Still, compared to the PC version I "returned" it's pretty solid. Rain was a bad choice, plays/looks so much better when it's not there.
