Xbox 360 PS3

Pandemic announces Saboteur, one of its many secret projects. There, you'll be a Saboteur of the resistance, in a France tied-up by the filthy nazis during World War II. Yep, again. But here, it looks a bit more interesting than usual, and since the game is planned to be released in 2008 for new-gen systems, we'll have plenty of time to see how it's coming.

I agree, at least try to come up with something like Resistance, which involves something more than just a WW2 scenario. Then again, it could still turn out to be a good game overall, I just wish it wasn't WW2 :( .

Ive watched an interview on gamespot, the game is a little different it has a full hand to hand combat system, the colour of the screens is related to if you are in an occupied or resistance held area, sounded pretty interesting actually

I found the story in Resitance really lame. I don't want to bash the ps3, the game is just not interesting at all.

The guy in the GameSpot interview said it's comming "on next generation platforms".

IMO, the plural indicates Xbox 360 AND PS3.

Yep, it's a mistake. Usually, when it comes to system attribution, I refer to gamekult.com, which is the equivalent of Gamespot in france. They're 99% accurate most of the time, so I didn't look further. Seems like I should have ;)

Saboteur is equal parts Sin City grit, Prince of Persia platforming, Indiana Jones cinematic action, Splinter Cell stealth, and Grand Theft Auto open world freedom.

The words that Game Informer used to describe Saboteur in their world exclusive preview of the game, last month.

They do not allow scans here, but hopefully they will not have any problems with allowing links to other sites that have the scans. Before passing judgment on Pandemic's new work, at least read the article and get the 411.

From what I have seen of Saboteur, the game looks awesome and is certainly tops on my radar for games to look forward to in 2008.

LOL, they stole my idea. I always thought someone should do a french resistance WWII game, it changes from the classic WWII classic FPSs.

But I'm glad to see a game recognizing the French resistance which was vital to winning the war. Guys like Jean Moulin were true heroes.

which could be a good thing ^_^

anything that brings something NEW (!) to the ww2 genre should be welcome...
but it is still way too early to make any predictions.
