I'm not excited for this, but Arkham City was better in every way.

I guess I'm one of the few that could appreciate both AC and AA for both being very good in their own ways. They could have just made AA 1.5 but they didn't and I'm glad they gave us 2 different but equally great experiences. That team is fantastic, my biggest hope is that AO is at least enough copy and paste to feel like a fun expansion to AC.

Boy that frame rate is ROUGH! I hope that's just the video being of poor quality and not representative of the game's performance on consoles.

Batman: AC was jaw-dropping at first and is certainly a good game, but I found the finale awful. Terrible boss fight.

Yeah I found the final boss in both games to be a big letdown but that's the case in almost every game period it seems. I can't remember the last game I played where the final boss was the best part.

You don't really remember the departure of a certain character?

Nah the video appears to be the PS3 version judging by the button prompts. Not exactly sure why the video is 1080.

It's tje pc version. Look at the tessalation in the snow. The footsteps that are created. That is only in the pc-version. But the framerate is horrible
It's pretty easy to replicate that with halfway decent normal maps, especially given the low quality of this video it'd be very hard to tell a difference between normal maps and tesselation. PC version would not have those Sony button prompts and Warner has a history of generally showing the Batman games on Sony hardware

The video is just very poorly encoded. Here's the same gameplay demo being given and it runs much better. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxJh_JDXUuE

check the nvidea physx demo for this batman. They explain the tessalation. Only on pc. They could be using the PS4 controller as that is compatible with pc.
Yes I've seen the nvidia demos. I still don't think this is the PC build. The tracks in the snow are not exclusively tesselated. They will just appear deeper. If you look at the tracks that are visible right before he enters the GCPD you'll notice that they look quite flat. The footprints are also visible in the youtube video that I linked to and I guarantee you that was not the PC build.

I've never seen a PC game that overlays Sony button prompts. They overlay xbox 360 controller prompts due to dxinput having native support for it. And while yes, it is possible to use a dual shock using emulation programs you would just be seeing either generic number prompts or would still be seeing xbox360 controller prompts.

Videos can record game footage at an upscaled resolution.

Maybe I do. I like to just think that there have been enough good, possibly better games since then to override it.

I forget memorable stuff all the time. I don't know why. I don't remember much at all of Arkham Asylum. I think it's all this entertain that goes straight to the vein.
