GC05: King Kong presentation

GC05: King Kong presentation

Michel Ancel himself was at the Game Convention yesterday to show his very big baby King Kong at the Ubisoft press conference. I have to admit that even if the graphics are obviously based on the PS2 version, I have been really impressed by this game. The gameplay sequence with King Kong was really amazing thanks to how well you feel the power of the king of Skull Island. Another thing worth mentioning is that Michel Ancel also confirmed us that they would try to get the Xbox 360 version out before the end of the year, and that their goal for this version was to get the graphics as close as possible to the movie.

Why is he working on this game then? It really doesn't fit his style ...
He should be designing new creative games! :P

  • nostradamus
nostradamus at least it run like a bige pile of hunking crap. 1-5fps for such a shitty looking 2D game (even if the detailed zoom-in/out 2d arte is cool) vs a 30fps LiS. comparison by my gaming toaster. (1 Hour ago)

Sdarts @asdfg: No update since N:A launched on Steam. What was updated was Kaldaien's mod, which is a Steam user who made a mod/tool to fix resolution, framerate and other issues with the game. (4 Hours ago)

Sdarts @KORNdog: Ironically, Oxenfree has far many more rarely used words than Life is Strange. Though the game is very good. Still, Life is Strange is eons better because it leaves a mark you never forget. (4 Hours ago)

GriftGFX @Sdarts: I'm not sure I buy it.. if that's Obama he got awfully pale. Plus that takes place dozens of years in the future, no? (7 Hours ago)
