The great Miguel got into the Microsoft showcase yesterday and managed to capture some 4K 60 fps footage of Forza Motorsport 7. Unfortunately the file we captured was in HDR and we (like many others) were absolutely not ready to handle such a format. We spend many hours experimenting with various software and settings and finally found a solution that we think is close to the actual game in terms of colors and black/white levels. Keep in mind though that the game might look a bit different from this video, but this should be quite close hopefully. There will be 3 videos, but since each takes hours to encode you'll have to be patient. Also the files were not encoded with our usual tool chain, so hopefully they will work as well as usual. Update 2: Added the third video.
@GriftGFX: Gonna go eat lunch now. Thanks for the chat. It's always great to learn more about technology and its potential. I just wish there were any articles on the subject I could find. (5 Hours ago)

Then you start getting into proprietary software hell and potentially preventing other developers from writing innovative software solutions themselves. It's a WEIRD idea. (5 Hours ago)
and game engine graphics pipelines or even programming interfaces for their products. None of that is their role in the whole thing.. and it shouldn't be. (5 Hours ago)
@Sdarts: Nvidia and AMD already do help developers with optimization more than they should have to. Nvidia and AMD should be improving the hardware and driver end of the technology and not worrying (5 Hours ago)
