Although we have only been able to play The Pillars of the Earth for about an hour, we have really been immersed in the Middle-Ages imagined by Ken Follet. The game looks very good and is particularly atmospheric, with solid voice acting and quite a dramatic tone right from the start. You can really feel the despair people must have felt at the time and provided the rest of the adventure manages to be as convincing as the beginning, it should be a very solid title. Just don't expect it to be fast paced.
I'm sure there will be releases this year that I'm still unaware of too. The next release for me: Celeste. (33 minutes ago)
Still finding plenty of stuff that I do want to play. Even AAA stuff sometimes :) (37 minutes ago)
I'm probably anticipating one of those games but that's just because AAA is mostly garbage. (38 minutes ago)
the most in the early 90's, before i bought a playstation and stopped playing computer games. Also enjoy playing games from my childhood. (53 minutes ago)
I gradually got a bit indifferent to the games being released over the last 10 years. I found joy in gaming again when i went back to playing flight simulators the last year, which was what i played (55 minutes ago)

I hear ya. Game in general just don't seem to do it for me as I get older. A shame too considering I have decent bandwidth that only took 20 years to get. Which may leave soon; if you know what. (1 Hour ago)
