E3: Assetto Corsa 2 on track

E3: Assetto Corsa 2 on track

Assetto Corsa Competizione is without a doubt the most anticipated game among sim racers, so today's videos should be quite a treat for them. The following extracts showcase 2 of the main new features of this sequel, the rain and the day/night cycle. The version shown here may only be pre-alpha, but it already seems to be a very immersive experience, Unreal Engine 4 allowing to feature even nicer car models than before.

E3: Monza
E3: Spa
E3: Day/night cycle

Wow this is amazing! It would be the ultimate sim if it would have rally, but still amazing. AI seems good too. Thank you for posting these!

You have to wait more than what you think, i'm afraid.
They will release it on pc first, no console version for now.
Steam Early access is in summer, but i'm sure they will release console versions oneday.

Wow nice. This came from no where looks great. spa and day/night cycle videos are pretty much the same.

Wow, looks incredible and its only pre alpha. The lighting definitely has a Gran Turismo feel to it, which is a good thing in my opinion.
Can't wait for this one.

  • Melmoth
Melmoth @jmd749: FALD can be a bit hit and miss, depending on how many zones and how aggressive it's programmed to work. Like the Q8 that's got far fewer zones (causing glow around bright objects) (1 Hour ago)
  • jmd749
jmd749 I'm excited for you, that is a beast of a television, with far superior HDR performance than any OLED with minimal to no burn-in issues. :P (4 Hours ago)
  • jmd749
jmd749 When I got my OLED 2017 FALD panels were more expensive, it's good to see they've dropped in price. I'd probably have bought the same as you, cause tbf FALD with just under 500 zones is good for a 65" (4 Hours ago)
  • jmd749
jmd749 @Melmoth: 15ms latency is pretty good and 2K nits will make for some very good HDR viewing, though a higher electricity bill. :P Agreed, I play old games on my PC monitor to avoid burn in on my OLED. (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Most of the rough edges in BFV are around stuff like UI. The actual game is solid as hell. (9 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX This is also the first Battlefield game that won't have expansions, which is something consumers asked for. (9 Hours ago)

GriftGFX It's not really the case where more content is always better. The quality of the content is important. (9 Hours ago)
