I see some frame skip when the car crashes, Or is that just me? I hope they fix that. It'll be annoying.

That looks smooth. If it handles well I'm tempted to buy it after all.

They seem to be using a version with low res textures. You can see this especially clearly in the beginning of the video.
Why is that? Oo

its just a low res video so it isn't picking it up off the tv screen......at gamespot they say that the handling is less forgiving than pgr2, not that is now a sim or anything..but the emphasis is now on taking corners with smoother lines and at faster speeds, than by skidding around them like b4

very dissapointed with the video; .. the frame-rate issue is looking more and more an "issue" as we get closer to the release.

From being one of my 1st "Must Have" 360 games; it's now on the back-burner, and instead I'll go for Perfect Dark & Call of Duty 2.

Far too choppy to be next-generation ..

Framerate issue o_O

Framerate?

It was running at a locked 30fps, and their aiming for 60.

There was no frame-rate problem.

What's up?
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer oh yea that, Dragon Age was preloading at the time (20 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Maybe.. it's different for pre-loaded stuff too. (42 minutes ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer @GriftGFX: well Dragon age extracted is suppose to be arround 20 gigs but the download was only 8 gigs or 15 gigs...procedure might be different for newer games (59 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 45 minutes for this game would have to be like... 3+ megabytes per second. My Comcast can't do that. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX My FFOW DL is almost 12.9 gigs and like 95% done. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Steam appears to download extracted and installed, there's no install process once you finish downloading a game. (1 Hour ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer D2D file right now is 9.2 GB's. I think it was less when I was downloading it (now its extracted) I am pretty sure Steam works the same way. 12 gb is probably the extracted size :P (1 Hour ago)
