X05: Madden 360 in motion

It's now Madden't turn to get a HD video. I won't comment on the gameplay since I know next to nothing about this sport, but the few americans I saw playing this game seemed quite happy with it. Note the beautiful crash at the end of the first action in the video, lots of games crashed during X05, looks like the consoles were overheating.
Update : Both versions are now available.
Update 2: EA contacted to remove this video because they did not find it to be a good representation of the game. In exchange they gave me these 3 brand new direct feed gameplay videos. I won't complain :)

yeah hopefully the sytems don't overheat at launch. After paying $400 for a system, it better not cause me no further trouble.

Too bad the players still walk into eachother, then walk in place, until one of them moves out of the way. Can't they get them to avoid eachother lol?
Even worse, that shows the terrible collision on the bodies, as they clip inside other bodies.

Otherwise it looks pretty good.
Can't say much more as I haven't put my hands on it, but I never thought American Football made for a very good video game.
Basketball is better for video games.

(football is best played in real life, or watched on TV)

The showfloor was very hot, and the demo booth were all very close to each other, with very little space for ventilation. And of course, the games themselves were beta so they could be the cause of the freezes too.
I'm not worried at all about overheating during anything we average gamers could with the Xbox 360.

fair point and dont the demo pods have the xbox360 encased in a perspex case, cant be great for ventilation

Like I said in the news, they seemed happy with the game. I did not have the time to ask for their impressions.

Otherwise the game looks pretty impressive graphically, pretty highly detailed player models and stadiums. I like the overall presentation of the game, the player intros are a good touch previously not done on a madden game. I'm just really curious about the gameplay mechanics and feel. Hopefully the game plays as good as it looks.

Yes it was there, but all my footage of this game is unusable from some reason.

I was wondering if anybody noticed the nba 2k6 pic at the end of the trailer I got a video editor it was the only way to view it because it was the last frame it looks like it was about to play and then goes off I was wondering if maybe blim has some game footage of nba2k6

Haha, I was wondering if anyone would notice this. Just a teaser of good things to come maybe :D
I've removed it from the final version of the video though.
