PGR3: Night racing in Las Vegas video

PGR3: Night racing in Las Vegas video

I've been invited to a private presentation of the 4 Microsoft published launch title for Xbox 360. Of course my trusty camcorder was with me, and I've about 35 minutes of footage to put online in the next few days. The only game I managed to get sound from was Project Gotham Racing 3, so let's start with this quite awesome night race in Las Vegas, with direct feed sound ! I'm sure you'll recognize my now famous racing style :|
This was the X05 version of the game btw, so the same bugs are still there (texture streaming especially).

Thanks BlimBlim!

Hey, do you have any night time vids of New York? I'd really love to see what the skyscrapers look like in the far distance with all the lighting. =D

No night time videos of London or NY allowed. I guess it was buggy in that build.

That """"song"""" in the video is god damn strange. I'm looking forward to some Death Cab for Cutie though. I never played any custom soundtrack in PGR2, the music there was good enough.

Hahah yeah, Warp Records aren't reknowned for their mainstream artists!

The artist list includes Queens of the Stone Age so I know someone at Bizarre has great taste!

hey blim do you know if it's running @60 fps??
Commented on 2005-10-19 00:54:02
The last IGN update noted that they are in between 30 and 60 fps. 45 fps?

What's up?
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer oh yea that, Dragon Age was preloading at the time (2 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Maybe.. it's different for pre-loaded stuff too. (2 Hours ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer @GriftGFX: well Dragon age extracted is suppose to be arround 20 gigs but the download was only 8 gigs or 15 gigs...procedure might be different for newer games (2 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 45 minutes for this game would have to be like... 3+ megabytes per second. My Comcast can't do that. (3 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX My FFOW DL is almost 12.9 gigs and like 95% done. (3 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Steam appears to download extracted and installed, there's no install process once you finish downloading a game. (3 Hours ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer D2D file right now is 9.2 GB's. I think it was less when I was downloading it (now its extracted) I am pretty sure Steam works the same way. 12 gb is probably the extracted size :P (3 Hours ago)
