PGR3: A full Nurburgring lap

PGR3: A full Nurburgring lap

I'm sure you won't be surprised if I tell you I have lots of new Project Gotham Racing 3 video for you guys. Let's start with the big one and this full lap around the Nürburgring in its Behemoth version. The sound is direct feed, but unfortunately only from the left channel, so the engine sound may be weird from time to time. Also the video is quite a bit on the dark side, as my camcorder had a lot of trouble not overexposing the sky like it happened before. And as before, this is from the X05 version of the game !
Please use the Bittorrent download method if possible, the direct download servers are saturated and so far I still do not have any usable hosting offer for the movies.

Me and a couple of my mates (6 of them) went for a night race on Nürburgring in minis once. After about 5 minutes of racing we'd all but one of us broken our headlights and we couldn't see shit. We had the one with functional headlights repeatedly brake so we could follow his tail lights around. It took us forever to finish that bloody race, but I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe. :)

Finally downloaded. Looks to me that Bizzare are saving some power of the 360 for PGR4. But it plays beautifully and runs really smooth. I need this game....

Very nice!

Ich liebe die Grüne Hölle! (I love the "Grüne Hölle" [green hell])

By the way: What you think about Test Drive? Sounds and Graphics are very nice too. (IMO better than PGR3)

Well I guess that you won't see too many oblivion videos right now, since it's not a american release-game. It might be in europe...

I'm sorry but this is entirely false.

Are u sure? From what I heard, they delayed oblivion to december.
But it really doesen't make any sense, so I guess your'e right.

Wait a minute, are you saying it's not a "launch" title?

From what you typed, you made it look like the game will not be released in America; which would be false information.
Commented on 2005-10-27 00:15:37
The internet doesn't care what is released where.

True.

Okay, enough.
Back on topic.

nice one Blim. glad you share my passion for PGR as you give us all of these great vids!

im leaning more towards TDU at the moment, even though PGR has great gfx and sounds, i just find racing on closed circuits is a bit boring, i'd rather have houses and the whole hawaii thing for my £40.

because it is also a mmoracing game, in which you can race for property cash or pink's, just adds a little bit to the whole racing genre, plus it's in a beautifull part of the world.

EDIT: it also has motorbikes, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Commented on 2005-10-27 02:35:23
Is there anyway to open the videos on this site with Windows Media Player?
Because the videos NEVER work with Winamp.
Commented on 2005-10-27 02:37:13
BLIMBLIM, do you have any more PDZ footage?

What's up?
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer oh yea that, Dragon Age was preloading at the time (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Maybe.. it's different for pre-loaded stuff too. (4 Hours ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer @GriftGFX: well Dragon age extracted is suppose to be arround 20 gigs but the download was only 8 gigs or 15 gigs...procedure might be different for newer games (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 45 minutes for this game would have to be like... 3+ megabytes per second. My Comcast can't do that. (5 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX My FFOW DL is almost 12.9 gigs and like 95% done. (5 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Steam appears to download extracted and installed, there's no install process once you finish downloading a game. (5 Hours ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer D2D file right now is 9.2 GB's. I think it was less when I was downloading it (now its extracted) I am pretty sure Steam works the same way. 12 gb is probably the extracted size :P (5 Hours ago)
