Yeah, this game is starting to look like timesplitters, with some halo features thrown in. Graphics aren't all that on close inspection either.
On a plus side, it does look fun.

I really think this has a shot at being the first really popular FPS in japan. It's getting a proper voice over treatment there and everything.

JUST AWFUL!!!!!!!! Sorry, but after seeing those screens my decision to buy CoD2 or this has been solved. And no, I'm not just basing on graphics. The fact is that games with such a low level of graphic fidelity........most of the time, are that quality OVERALL. Having watched videos, read reviews, and seen this screens....this game has flop written all over it. It'll be lucky to score an average in the 8's......

And please don't boulet time me for stating the facts, hell, why doesn't snoopers tell us his, most likely, dissapointing impressions.

Thats not the facts LEBATO. How can you say all that when you havent even played it. Other than some of the N64 character models the game looks great and looks like alot of fun to play.

And screen caps always make games look worse you will not notice the jaggies in motion.

I have seen the game in motion and it looks MUCH better than some of those screens suggest

I would think so since that is a completely new engine and all these games are built off current gen engines. Too bad the gameplay in GoW so far looks like donkey doodoo.

Phff, I've seen enough gameplay videos to come with this educated opinion, just watch it get low scores across the board. No 9's....at least not from respectable sources

Sorry Rare, I really believed you could have gotten this done. But serious, does anyone at Rare actually look at the art they're making? Your working for MS. I'm sure they can get you so DECENT artists.

Nobody will probaby see Rare as anything serious, MS will be disappointed, and 300 million gone down the drain. Good thing I didn't order the 360 yet, as I have to wait for some decent software. I was reading all the impressions last night, and watched the 1up videos, and i thought to myself, WOW. So much for that now, these things look down right horrible. Still waiting for the review though...

An 8 is a great score not a low score. I've seen plenty of gameplay videos too and it looks great to me I'm getting it for the multiplayer. CoD2 'looks' good especially the singleplayer, but I'll pass on the multiplayer for it.. the gameplay is pretty much 1 shot kill like R6 and it only supports 8 players on Live.

Seems like the snow level is one of the less good looking ones iv'e been reading about. Especially the hallway's etc. looking extremely dull and some of the walls and seelings looking awfull, almost the N64 original with a higher resolution. At first i didn't want to buy this game, then i read some very good things about and got hyped up about it. Now i'm really not sure anymore. I also heard that de graphics in multiplayer are even much worse the nthis, really like the original Perfect Dark with a bit of polishing. Same with Kameo. Really looked to be a great game but after reading more about and seeing more movies etc. i think the gameplay of it doesn't appeal to me.

Lebato, I dunno what scores you're refering to. The only half official scores so far have been 7, 9 and 9.

7 is not a low score, 1 source is not "across the board". I know you're keen to point out how disappointed you are, but stick to facts will you.

These screens, I second, do not do the game justice. Some of them do (some of the last ones) but most of them seem purposely capped to show off isolated details like trees and textures and zoomed in faces. I appreciate that, it's the kind of stuff that's difficult to discern from most official screens released. Do yourself a favour though - watch the trailer posted here a while ago and watch the trailer on www.gametrailers.com. Better yet, watch the video that Blim's inevitably gonna post sooner or later. When in motion, this game simply cannot hide the fact that it's a pretty damn fine looking thing.

In screens, even Condemned looks pants on occasion.
