I think i will just pick this one up for it's gameplay. Graphics look good enough to get you in to the game deep, but it doesn't completely blow me away. Don't agree with the Gamespot review for giving this game a 9 on the graphics department. Sure the could still have given this game a 9 if the gameplay is really good, but a 9 for these kind of graphics is very risky. Sure it looks awesome compared to games available for the current Xbox, but it doesn't for a next gen system(PGR 3 looks way better, but gamespot gave that a 9 aswell). Before you now it there will be some shooters out there for Xbox 360 with graphics that wil make this game look like last gen(gears of war, halo 3 etc.) and then what, give those games a 9.5 for graphics? That 0.5 points really won't resemble the actual difference in graphics quality.

Hey, anyone know a good cheap HDTV with 720p support. Saving paychecks so I'll get one with 360.

I sure would love to play this.. however, my Xbox 360 died about 2 hours after I got it. PD0 and PGR3 are on their way from Gamefly, and my system will be in the shop getting repaired when they get here :(

The graphics ARE that good. I mean check out the parralax mapping all over the place, let alone the high res textures/pretty particle effects, and everything else.

As for cheap HD sets, I picked up a samsung 26" CRT that offers true 480p/720p/1080i support (w/built in HDTV tuner!) for $699 a while back (I think it's down to about $650 now). I wasn't a fan of earlier samsung tubes to say the least, but this one is on par with 26" sets from sony or toshiba. Besides being cheaper, I'd reccomend a CRT set because they still offer the best overall image quality, with a much higher dynamic range due to deeper blacks than LCD or plasma and they're sharper than most projection tech that I've seen. They are super bulky though of course.

i think the graphics are fine, its just the artstyle that you aren't in tune with. I think the character models and the cutscenes, and maybe the lack of AA are the only things keeping this from deserving more than a 9.

my xbox 360 stop working as soon as i power it up, come to find out i went on the xbox forums and a**** load of people have the same problem. microsoft phones are in high call demand as i type... buyers beware!!!

You get "free AA" in 720p if you use tile rendering. The developers got the final Xbox 360 GPU too late in the cycle of development to move their engine to tile rendering.

so the just ***ed up Kameo und PGR3 without AA because of a simple rush... Thank you MS, thank you very much. Now I have a Hairdryer without AA in my livingroom for 300bucks... nice

maybe there is some AA... but if you know what 4xAA or more looks like, there is no AA. I don't see any... all of the launch games are full of jaggies... I hate jaggies and the AA was one of my most wanted technical things in next gen...

OMG...i totally agree.. if this is true, it's absolutely ridiculous. How come that none of the reviews mentioned the thing?

Can anybody source that "no AA" speculation? From what I've seen so far (running 720p native) there's minimal to no aliasing, at least in PGR 3 and PDZ.

and tiling... nice, but no pc in the world has embedded ram or tiling and still lots of AA...

I have no clue why MS has announed AA that big ("AA for free", "hardware AA", "every game has AA") and now there is nothing that has any AA. Even the character Movies from Rare in 720p had massive AA... no single jaggie... the retail is full of it.

I asked the German Microsoft PM about it and "well, I don't know nothing about it" was his answer... thank you again...

Your average PC GPU has at least 128 MB of RAM at his disposal nowadays.

mine has even 256mb but the xbox has 512mb unified Ram so... its a console and we all know what they could do with 64mb ram on the xbox1... it's all simply rushed for damn money...
