More images of Lost Planet

Capcom today released some more images of Lost Planet, together with some artwork and character renders. I love how the game is fuilled with lovely snow, I just hope there will be more running and less meching - I've barely touched my Steel Battalion.

This game looks awesome, absolutely awesome. Reminds me of Gunvalkyrie meets Mech Warrior meets the Thing (because of the setting only). The main character looks so much like Leon from RE4 it's frightening though.

Munkie...I said the same thing about Gunvalkyrie...but yes it looks sweet and the story has got to be pretty good as the lost planet seems to be earth...

Damn i thought that this two artworks are ingame graphics. Thats the only thing that impressed me, other pictures are total unimpressive.

You've got to be kidding me. If you are more impressed by artwork than in-game graphics then all hope is lost for you.

Honostly this isnt impressive to me. they need better textures and leon (RE4) looks alot better than that model. but its still early right?! Explosions are good tho.

If you don't want the games that are out, then no, you shouldn't buy one. I'm failing to understand how this is repeatedly something you have to remind us of. congratulations, you don't want to play any of the Xbox 360 launch titles, your official prize will reach you soon, really.

Anyone else much more impressed by the graphics after seeing the video in 720p? There seem to be a lot of details like high-resolution bump maps or normal maps that don't show up at all in the low-res version they released on the web. Very nice!
