Finally,...its the FF creator and he hired Akira,both made chrono trigger,and look at the art and this game and compare it to any ff...more like a sequal to chrono trigger...

I just hope the story isn't a generic Japanese RPG one.

Sakaguchsi wrote the story/event in FF1-FF5,and then came up with backround story and events and accept and changed things up to ff9.
If you like ff1-ff9 and his chrono trigger,im sure you will be fine with this too.
Yes sakaguchi said this game was aimed for japanese audience,but as he also said,his FF games was it too and become worldwide hit.
So its hard to say what to expect and what kind of game he does.
