Quake 4 is the other FPS published by Activision for the Xbox 360 launch. And that's about all this game has in common with the excellent Call of Duty 2. Quake 4 could have been a good game, but the technical issues, especially the framerate, just killed any interest I could have had in this game single player mode. The multiplayer on Xbox Live is quite good, but unfortunately it looks like there aren't many players. Make sure you rent this game (if possible) before paying the full price.

I mean, though I'm 24, I grew up playing primarily only console first-person-shooters. People like me, raised on sub-par ports of Doom, the Turok games, and things like the original Perfect Dark - people who have always assumed that even a shaky 30FPS was fine/great and never really seen much stuff at 60FPS --- surely people like us, should be able to love/accept Quake IV - am I wrong?

I grew up playing console shooters, too. I havent seen Quake 4 on 360 so far, but the controller is reason enough for me to play the pc version. FPS and Controlers?
Sorry, i just dont wanna play that anymore since the first time i touched a mouse and a keyboard. I wasnt happy with Halos Controls and im not happy with PDZeros Controls. I wont even buy ut2007 on ps3 because i know - with the controller, it just cant be as much fun as it was intended to be.
