I've received a lot of message asking me to put online the awesome ending video of Dead or Alive 4, so there it is. Needless to say that it's much better to discover it by yourself when playing the game, but I'll let you decide if you should watch it or not !
Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum By FAR, the upcoming Game of Thrones King’s Road was the Game of the Show! It plays like God of War Ragnarok! :) (> 3 Months ago)

Commented on 2006-01-09 20:19:04anyway, the ending cinematics are very, very nice! best for any fighting game yet. hey blim, you should also show the new blond kid's(forgot his name!) ending cinematic! jann's is great , too. they all are. now i'll get back to unlocking more endings ;)
oh yeah, what's this about team ninja being lazy for not making the game as good looking as the cinematics??? the stuff in the video is obviously 10000x too much for the 360 or anything available now to handle as a real time game. it would take each frame hours to render on a top class workstation for cg movies like the doa ending movies. besides, it's not like doa4 has crap graphics, they're great..good showcase for 360.

Commented on 2006-01-09 20:50:46Only 1 core on the 360 is actually being used right now. With more power from the other cores they'll be able to seriously pump out some insane and have it run flawlessly at 60fps. Its just a matter of time :)
I have a friend in japan, but UNTIL this is confirmed take it as just rumor. I know he has a family member that works with team ninja and apparently he said to me that itagaki is making ninja gaiden 2 to take advantage of 2 if possible all 3 360 cores and its the reason he has held of on an announcement. He wants to make ninja gaiden the most impressive videogame ever made one that will force people in japan and the rest of the world to buy a 360. Says after this game if they don't get a 360 for it then they can't call themselves gamers.

haha, the way you phrased this is funny, but i know what you mean
What you said was right overall, but some things. Itagaki said he was unhappy with xbox 360 space usage, and liked the blue ray, a lot. He also said he was pretty damn sure of going multi-platform with ninja gaiden 2. And he seemed to like Sony's PS3. So I'm not entirely sure if that statement you made is 100% accurate, but I know for a fact, he said he's working hardest on Ninja Gaiden 2, to make graphics as outstanding as Ninja Gaiden 1 was for its time.
I'm sure they will beat DOA4's graphics, because DOA4 is just the stepping stone to next-generation. It was perfect as a launch title. (just about a launch title)

Commented on 2006-01-10 07:08:09so doa4 is using one core? i'm not sure, can extra cpu usage add graphical power??
anyway, ue3 demos are very impressive, but this stuff(end movies^) can seriously never be real time now. waay too many effects and models have insane poly count. GOW and ue3 demos are impressive looking, but they can't touch real prerendered cinematics(^).
Commented on 2006-01-10 07:19:09Lost odyssey might pull it off as well,
Blue dragon I honestly think has already accomplished it I just want to see more from lost odyssey before I say it has done it too, but what the hell am i talking about.... this is sakaguchi we are talking about and he says he'll devote most of his time to lost odyssey its a game he wants to change the way people view games and force them to view games in an entirely new light.
Also amerakin itagaki is one CONFUSING guy man. He made it well known all over the place that he thinks the xbox360 is the best next gen console in the world even better than the ps3. He said the ps3 is too complicated to work with. So would he say that and then STILL develop for the ps3, but (The challenge for programming on the harder to develop for ps3 might be exciting to alot of developers)
I know for damn sure the thought of being able to successfully produce a game on that ps3 with its hard to work with cell processor is an accomplishment all its own. One that any developer that makes a game for the system should be very proud of because trust me the ps3 is INCREDIBLY hard to develop for. Developers as amazing as even hideo kojima are having headaches with the thing.
Commented on 2006-01-10 07:34:58Itagaki expressed his thoughts on the ps3 here. If possible can I get the link to where he said the good things about the ps3? I'd really hate to see ninja gaiden 2 a ps3 exclusive or actually on the ps3 in ANY shape or form aka (multi-platform). Ninja Gaiden 2 is the kind of well known exclusive that the 360 needs to crack the japanese market wide open. Lets put it like this... Ninja Gaiden 2 xbox360 exclusive is japan's halo!!! :D

I was a bit nervous before, but after reading things like this again I'm positive that itagaki will deliver ninja gaiden 2 to all the fans he has in the xbox live community.
He's extremely passionate in making amazing games for the xbox and especially the 360. He wouldn't devote all that time to the xbox community, receive nothing button positive feedback on his products, also takes the time to participate in online doa ultimate tourneys, then not bring ninja gaiden 2 to the xbox360 which has no doubt been picked up by many of his current fans i'm now no longer worried about ninja gaiden 2 being on the 360 It'll definetly be on the 360, but an exclusive? That I can't guarantee, but then again after thinking about it somemore he also really wants microsoft to succeed in the japanese market so I say ninja gaiden 2 xbox360 exclusive.
The original xbox was infact an amazing console, but nobody bothered to give the thing a chance and he doesn't seem satisfied with how its being ignored. Microsoft really put to use their strenght as a software giant to make the 360 as attractive to developers as humanely possible developers would be absolutely crazy to ignore the impressiveness of the 360 development kit.
Commented on 2006-01-10 07:42:34Itagaki said PS3 is too complicated, but he said he really liked it, because it can do everything his imagination, Japanese game makers and their extremely high disk space of CG's they add, can put into the games. But he likes 360 better which makes sense because of its easy to use quality. It all depends on when he said what. He said he's planning on going multiplatform for upcoming games (we dont know which ones), and he said he loved the PS3's capabilities, so it all comes time to wait and see i guess.
