Konami IS the one making this right? Honestly... is this even something that the japanese market likes?? I wouldn't ever purchase this game, but if it can make the 360 more popular in japan then by all means, but I wouldn't waste my money.

The muscularity in their legs and waists looks really good, but there isn't enough detail in the skin textures to keep them from looking like action figures.

Bah I wouldn't be caught dead buying this game... its an insult to real gamers.

Lets just hope they know something we don't know regarding the japanese market.

What the hell is that on their legs. I've seen muscles and that looks like a spasm or something. I'll buy it though.

I'm sure La Mariposa and Tina will win in a fight against those two. Looks badass to me, not sure if I'll spend $60 on it, but...I would much prefer if Konami had Kojima-san working on the 360. Oh and I'm sure this game will move thousands of 360 in Japan.

I work w/ computer graphics .. and MOST of japanese 3D artist do work like this .. NOT in realtime .. in video! ... this one is a bit above the average .. for the japanese market .. THIS is CG quality .. they seem to NOT like too realistical .. just turn Subsurface Scattering + Self Shadow + Ambient Oclusion and a simple Ambient Light trick and tadã .. this game would look VERY realistical ..

they enjoy plastic dolls .. just google around in japanese 3D websites and you will see...

Plus .. the last version of this game was the most sold fighting game of the last generation .. in japan.

Female models look WAY better than DOA4's. And at least there's some kind of shadowing (look at the legs and abdomen), unlike DOA4. Plus, different bodies and faces... again, unlike DOA4.

Have you ever watched Japanese anime? Their cartoons are clearly targeted for the adult audience. I remember the first time I saw a pair of animated tits. And guess what? It was Japanese anime. I don't think they have censorship on the anime over in Japan. Scantily clad animated woman sells well.

I guess konami is keeping on their promise to improve the quality of the models they have muscles now!
