The editing of the video seemed to have taken precedence over extensive footage of the game.
Ah well.
Still, pretty cool stuff.
wow-ser! but actual gameplay won't be that intense?
I think we cant put this game in the same category with BO-R & FAR CRY because is not a simple port /reworked game like them.
I mean this game beats even the pc version which is the best shooter of 2005.
It doesn't. It may look better than it does on your average PC--but I disagree--I miss the clean look of the PC version. That being said, it's pretty close to outing what I play on my PC visually..but I hardly play it on it's highest of settings.
But I have obvious bias, I've played nearly 400 hours of BF2..and it's no secret that the BF2 community doesn't necisarly take this game very seriously.
Frankly the game is just a much different product--must we keep making this comparison? I promise I'll leave MC alone if you leave BF2 out of it :P There is one thing it does better--it supports widescreen! (damnit DICE, fix BF2's widescreen support)
EDIT: And unless EA/DICE do some terribly tragic things to the game with the next patch, BF2 could very well be the best shooter of 2006 too..though the new Enemy Territory certainly has a ton of potential, as does UT2k7.
also..yea..the game may actually be that intense. The BF franchise is full of "OH *($&!!!" moments.
I wasn't going to make a comment..until someone haaad to go and say it looks better than the PC version.

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
u dont think this looks better then the PC version...are you an idiot
i have the pc version and i play it maxed out and it looks nowhere near as good as this (lower res trailer)
this game looks amazing...amazing!
stuff
Even if it did look any better, it's a freaking different game and the comparison is really, really lame..the game doesn't PLAY anything like the 360 version..so why the constant comparison on visuals? We still PLAY games, don't we? Not to mention the fact that the PC game needs to compensate for 64 player sized maps..which are freaking huge..bigger maps, means bigger memory space, means less memory to budget to textures...which are generally pretty damn nice anyway.
And no, I don't think this looks any better than the PC version on it's highest settings...and no, I don't think that anyone could even tell if it did from a video this low res and with level of compression...please.

the 64 palyer maps on bf2 are stupid...24 is a much better number...less lag and drop offs...
im not saying this game will be better then the pc version until im actually playing a 24 player battle on my 360..but it will look alot better
also i wasn't calling u an idiot...it was a bad choice of wording
my bad

The game does look a lot better though and it's caught my eye lately in the actual gameplay vids. I'll pick it up if it reviews well across the board.
Meh, just another classic "EA" type of trailer, absolutely no gameplay...

it might be a cinematic camera but they are the graphics
Looked pretty sweet. much better than that last piece of crap trailer they released. some nice motion blur going on too
The PC version didn't look this good.
Damn 360's gonna make me bankrupt...
