this isn't first person on the second screen u can see the topdown view, btw i actually really like the new look of Bomberman, think the gritty look is better than the Happy smiling kiddies laying down bombs...

U can see the camera on different heights on the second scan; maybe their's a 3d camera that u can manipulate yourself....

It doesn't appear to be first person at all, looks more like an isometric third person. Could be interesting, though the Bomberman style is iconic and this seems to miss the mark slightly.

WTF ! They had to fuck this up too.. oh well, I hope they bring the real bomberman to live arcade with multiplayer.

They should make old-skool Bomberman a Xbox Live Arcade game.. I played that old game a lot on the PC many years ago.. (Atomic) Bomberman was a lot of fun in MP..

Interesting concept. You can't really tell what the gameplay will be like from those screens, but from ther look of it, it might be some intense gameplay.

Yeah, the only English words on the second page are "standard" and "first person bommer", with screens for both.
So, it looks like you could maybe pick a camera style that you like.
(though that "first person" view looks more like third person to me)

The new bomberman looks pretty Badass. If you liked the previous versions I dont see why you wouldnt like this one.

I can't believe so many companies are giving into the pressure to change their characters just to appeal to the male audience. It's sad.

Why was there any confusion that this game may be first person? Those scans show only top down views... some of you need your eyes checked. It looks JUST like the old game but obviously with a more gritty look... fine with me. Looks like just as much fun too.

it's just those screens look to be a more 3rd person kind of view with a camera that can be moved around or placed in the original top down view....

It's wierd, either they don't have real screenies of the supposed first person view, or it's a misprint.

em...WTF? I sure as hell didn't expect this...however if it keeps true to the fundamental bomberman gameplay then I don't see why anyone would have a problem. Although I'm not sure how I feel about what they did to Bomberman, I mean in some ways he looks cool, but then a part of bombermans appeal was it's unique chibi look.
