Lost Planet trailer

Lost Planet trailer

Capcom released that old trailer from TGS (but with english voices and better quality this time) of Lost Planet. Some of you probably already seen it via The Market Place, but this is for the ones that haven't (or just want to have it on the computer).
Update : Added an even better definition version.
Update 2: 720p images added.

except for the human characters, this game looks like CG! Damned impressive, especially if they iprove those human character models.

I like the hair though, N3 has really bad hair. Same as DOA

N3 has thousands of units on screen at once...
This doesnt.
The human models are very good as they are btw.

human models are poorly textured for a next-gen game.

How can you tell that from a highly compressed video ?

It looks alright, but don't forget it's a 2007 game and the main character is a real Asian star so I'd expect his face at least to look insanely detailed.

It's MGS and Metroid Prime mixed!

the human character models, along with their textures, are quite subpar from what this game looks like it should provide

especially considering this is the developer of onimusha and devil may cry, some of the best games (graphically) for ps2 when it was launched

edit: the animations, however, are incredible, definitely next-gen quality

Textures and lighting and such are usually one of the last things to be fixed. Don't worry, they won't even be an issue by the time the game is launched.

It's stupid to argue over graphics. Let us appreciate the game for what it is. Big monsters and bigger explosions. Hey, count me in.

stupid to argue over graphics? why do we ever care to buy more powerful consoles then? if better technology is required for better gameplay, why are xbox live arcade games the most entertaining thing on the system right now?

I like the mech/on foot gameplay switches. Those should help keep the gameplay fresh.

Moonwalker @digi_matrix: Lol that is brilliant. I love when a dev puts detail like that in a game. How is Last Light by the way?Anyone playing it? Reviews a bit mixed... (6 Hours ago)
  • digi_matrix
digi_matrix I don't think you've played enough Metro, because there is humor in these games to offset. Uhlman in 2033 was pretty much comedic relief. Call of Duty takes itself more seriously than Metro. (7 Hours ago)

KORNdog @Tinks: not fitting at all, but i guess it's fun..yeah, no argument there. (8 Hours ago)

Tinks it's pretty innocent fun (8 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog I could see them working in a game with themes that fit, say, army of two, or team fortress. But it doesn't really have a place in a game like metro... (8 Hours ago)
