This game is one of, if not the best RPG i have ever played, can see why it took them 5 years to make it...

Game clock is around 58 hours with most (10/13) of the summons and (12/4X-5X) side-quests (mob hunt and etc).

Still playing. Game clock is currently 6x hours, just recorded 7 summon monsters death blows.

I once runned through ff9,and got the best sword for steiner,forgot its name, but i did it in 12 hour,as you have to,and well,the first time i finished ff9 it took me like 38 hours,so i mean,it all depends on how you play,if you just run straight,and doesnt talk with extra npc or check the enviorment,and hurry through the text,you can rush through any ff game in 10-15 hours,but then you havnt played it right,if you have,35-40 hour is a most.

There are little things about this game I don't like, the music for one thing and there seems to be no real love story in this one (From what I can tell.) I guess they wanted to change it up a bit. But the combat system is the best.
