Page 1 2 >>Im suprised someone took the time to make these videos. Anyone that has the slightest intrest in the game is either sleeping or playing oblivion right now.
Cheers Blim :)
You must have pretty big servers :p
It would be awesome if I was able to record PAL60 videos, but I haven't succeeded in it with my Radeon 9250 ViVo card. What kind of system does it require to record PAL60?
But why isn't snoopette using that katana she found in the beggining?
It's way better than her current sword
Yea that katana owns, plus that katana you can't keep one of the guards take it back to burry along with her as a tribute or something.
Snopette isn't thinking, she's a girl of passion! Whatever her whim tells her, she'll use. A fiery soul! A free bird!
I didn't check this video yet, but you should go into the heavily wooded areas if you haven't already :)

You don't need a sword when youre dead, stupid guard :(
can someone tell me how to pick locks without doing auto attempt? i suck with them lol
That is the system I told all my friends I'm using and they said it helps a ton.
Its such a hard lock to pick lol. I just hide in the shadows so I can't be seen and pick it while a guard is right there, but he doesn't see me picking it. At first I wasn't going to join the thieves guild, but once I heard that gray fox can shrink to the size of a mouse, disappear at will and change into mist to sneak under a door instead of picking it I just HAVE to get into that guild to learn that stuff. Someone gave me an invitation to the theives guild I'm going to go meet him (not going to say where for fear of spoiling someone's fun)
I found this scary cave FILLED with nothing but coffins and I entered something that was called the lord's chamber or something so god damn scary I left before it got dark outside. I'm really afraid of running into vampires in this game.
Also the graphics are amazing, especially the outdoor bit.
Thanks for the video though, I'm not ungrateful :P
Anyway, the secret to picking locks is to listen to the sounds the tumblers make when you push them up. There are two sounds I've noticed:
1. A short metal on metal sound. This indicates the tumbler will immediately fall back down.
2. Similar to the first but you will hear it kind of double clutch. This indicates the tumbler will briefly stick up, giving you a chance to lock it in. When you hear this sound, hit A immediately to lock it in place.
Once you're able to differentiate between the sounds, you will be picking even very hard locks with ease.
If your magic abilities are high enough, you could always buy the open lock spells as well, that's what I use now except for the very hard locks, which I've yet to find a spell for.
This is truly one of the greatest games ever created. There are so many unique moments to be had and so much content that I can see myself playing this game well in to the future. I killed a bear last night at the top of a cliff with water below. The bear ended up very realistically tumbling down the cliff and took a slow motion back flip in to the water. It was so cool and realistic I couldn't believe it actually happened. Only in Oblivion! My arse and my couch have been getting to know each other very well this past week.
I say drop the sword somewhere on the ground then pick it back up AFTER you talk to him then leave lol.
Can anyone tell me how the controls are in this game? Can I move with the rightstick and aim/look with the leftstick?
I'm not really a RPG gamer, but I'm really tempted by this..

I really suggest everyone to try this one even if you're not into RPGs.
It plays like a FPS, no worries :)
You didn't answer my question though, can you aim/look with the leftstick and move with the rightstick? Or is this again a game that doesn't support southpaw? That's the only thing I need to know, thxs..
