Flatout 2 images

Flatout 2 images

Vivendi has released seven new images from Finnish Bugbear's game Flatout 2. The first game was one of the prettiest last generation, I just wish they could do a next-gen version of this too.

NICE WipEout parody with those bilboards :D. The game is looking great; bloom isn't overused and the sparks look a LOT like Burnout. I enjoyed the first one, so lets hope this one turns out even better.

for an original xbox game even though those are PC screens I think... Looks very nice! Hope for a next-gen version maybe :)

While some of us are asking devs to please stop ports, some others just keep on wanting the ports, and then we wonder why is the 360 full of ports. Thank you Manager.

Embrace the ports, I say! If you like a game and you can get it somewhat snazzed up, with achievements, 720p and play it with the 360 pad, why the hell not?

Because that's going to cost you 60 dollars instead of what, 30 dollars from the old version, is it worth it? Of course not.

I dunno why Xbox games cost half of what 360 games cost where you live, but here they don't. Usually a fiver separates them which is about.. um.. 10 bucks I think. Now, for me and I think everyone with a 360, 10 bucks is worth it for their constant Friends list presence and all of the chatty functions that come with it, aswell as achievements, souped up graphics and playing with the controller that made the S feel clunky.

Me too, we really need a fun destruction-derby-like game on the Xbox 360..

I enjoyed the first one very much. The mini games were brilliant fun, and were good for parties.

Agreed. I've got no problem with well produced ports. I've been having a surprising amount of fun with BF2:MC and Burnout Revenge - neither game rocks the 360s hardware to the fullest extent, but some care and effort was spent upgrading them for the system. Neversoft on the other hand can rot for their half, no one eighth, assed ports of Gun and Tony Hawk.

Oh and this game looks very good indeed - if those are xbox shots, somebody deserves a big hug.

LEBATO
is it just me or is this guy flamming in ever single post you read?

Oh we've got a few of those, vlasveld. I find that ignoring them or sarcastically commenting is the best way to deal. Other options like.. actually taking in what they're saying often leads to headaches and nausea.

Yeah, if Sony decides they want to develop a 360 game! Fingers crossed!

What's up?
  • digi_matrix
digi_matrix Paranormal Activity was insane, totally deserves being the most profiting indie film ever made. I saw the original version, not the theatrical one. WAY BETTER! (4 Hours ago)

SimonM7 Nope, no such prestige I'm afraid. Just 1½ year of comic making and ICQ channel community on quakenet of all places. :) 2002 doesn't sound far back but it's soon 8 years ago. Time sure does roar past. (10 Hours ago)
  • Megido
Megido Did you make comics and stuff for kong back in the day? The art looks similar :) (11 Hours ago)

SimonM7 Thanks :D and yeah I do. M7 was originally a webcomic, and the idea now is to make it a bit of an entertainment blog in general and a webcomic. Only done two strips so far since I rebooted it in may. (12 Hours ago)

alimokrane @SimonM7: Dude That's amazing. Do u draw that stuff ?? (13 Hours ago)
