Moto GP 2006: One lap video

THQ was kind enough to send me a preview version of Moto GP 2006 on Xbox 360, so I HAD to make some videos. The trouble is that this version, as most previews, has some framerate problems and these videos would have really made a rather bad impression of the game. The Saschenring track, despite being one of the nicest looking of the season, is also one of the smoothest of this version so I managed to make this rather watchable video. Be aware that there are some graphical glitches: Transparent ads and pit line, and some overblooming at the end of the track. Nothing major but this will of course be fixed in the final game.

Very nice, there were some screens released the other day that looked odd but this looks great (apart from the obvious preview build glitches)

The onbike view still had some very low resolution textures, so I did not capture any footage using it.

I think i remember this course from the XBL demo cd you got with your XBL starterkit on the xbox.
Same course from the xbox version of motogp.

Yes,its the same map as in the MOTOGP game in xbox,and was on the demo,rechecked the video,100% sure.
And no this game isn't slow,and it will show when you play with other people,its awesome to see people driving infront of you in high speed,or if you do that to someone else,also blimblim took no risk when playing,also you can play this game in first person view very cool,but hard to control the bike.

I liked the first game,this game has awesome look on the character/bike 95/100.
But rest? like 88/100...

I watched the HD video and it played like in slow motion, now Ive downloaded the low res video and it runs fast :-P

Hey Blim, I downloaded the 720p from that server outside of your site TWICE and after finishing the download I couldn't open the file, Media Player gave me an error.

I tried using DivX player and it did work, but seemed to finish before it was supposed to. It only played for 30 secs.

I've never have had any problems with files from your site, so it may be the file, I don't know.

ANYWAYS the low res version worked just fine.

I will be buying this game as long as the framerate is solid 60 and the bugs are gone :D

When i played this on my pc,it said 40-47 fps,is that because my pc just could handle that fps?

I don't know if this is me, but it looks the same as the Xbox version to me.

I loved the first 2 Moto GPs, but the third one was very underwhelming.

i like the lighting on the wet tarmac. looks brilliant for early build. cant wait

sound was great too, seemed better than xbox versions from what i can rememeber

Really? I just can't see it. The biker looks a bit better yes, but the environments look the same :s

How was the handling? assuming you played 1 and 2 on the xbox, would you define this as easier? maybe smoother, less hardcore?
