PDZ demo & DLC announced

Microsoft has officially announced a demo and a DLC pack for Perfect Dark Zero, coming to the Marketplace soon. More info & video inside.

The demo will let you play the solo map Outpost, alone, together with a friend split-screen or co-op over Xbox Live. You'll also be able to test a new multiplayer map over Xbox Live or offline, Plaza.
The Downloadable content will consist of eight new bot personalities and four new maps, where the bots will be free and the map probably not so free. It sounds like the maps will be released a while after the demo & the bots, but we aren't sure. A trailer was also released, presenting the four new maps.

dont have the game so might try the demo. but ive heard a lot of negative feedback about this game ...

EDIT - Wow, they look damn nice aswell, hope they are nice and big.

were there bots before in the game? i've never found a option for bots in multiplayer-mode ...

Bots are in deathmatch modes but not DarkOps (team) which this adds

I think the Maps will be out around the same time as the bots...both content packs are on the debug Live network now anyway.

Cool beans, these maps look good. Multiplayer was a good laugh, this should give me some incentive to play it again.

I don't mean to sound like a cheapskate but the maps should be free, the game only came with five to begin with which is pretty lame, not like i care anyway though since i don't have the game anymore, just saying.

It cost alot of money for these devs to work on DL content after the games are finished so I don't mind paying for some of it.

I thought you play games to get the gamer points. I'm sorry if I sound like a newb, just haven't got my 360 yet.

Edit-- Lol, well i guess you're indirectly paying for the gamer points, so using them on PD0 is paying for the DLC.

gamerpoints are for e-peen measuring

microsoft points are what is used to buy things from the marketplace.

Was the bot name Kazooie in the retail game? If not, perhaps its a hint at what to come...

Havent played PDZ in a while, should give me a reason to play it again.

bot-kazooie was previously in the title. Along with bots named after a handful of other RARE characters.

PDZ wasn't great, Single player was bad game design and I know that Multiplayer was good. In a game like this though you expect both components to be great unlike lets say Counter Strike for the Xbox where you knew right off the bat that its a multiplayer game and dont look for a great singleplayer experience.
