This game looks amazing to me.
thats better :D
Ok seriously, I think this game looks pretty boring, probably because I don't like hack and slash games in the first place.
But I had hoped this game would add something extra over that, but I don't really see anything here that goes beyond a standard hack and slash game.
Also, the enviroments are not that interesting or immersive, and that's what could've lifted this game to a higher level.
If I'm allowed, I'd like to make a suggestion:
I think it would good to set the low res videos at 480p considering that this is the Max resolution most of the Low-Mid end PCs can handle without trouble.
While 720p looks perfect, you need a quite powerful PC to play them, and the quality cost of (640x360) is maybe too high.
Please take my request in consideration.
Cheers.
The fact of the matter is the concept of slaying hundreds and now thousands of enemies in the course of the battle is a good concept, people enjoy it, people like to feel powerful and this conveys that sense to them.
They've improved it purely by making more combos, adding more enemies, and as I'm to understand actually having a story. So while it isn't going to redefine the concept and change the way people think of these types of games it is fun and enjoyable, old idea or not.
As far as I've seen, it seems like the Japanese have a fairly narrow taste in strategy games, the only ones being the likes of FF Tactics, Disgaea and Co.
Both have been great so far.
Well, what is it exactly that you want to change? It's one thing to say "This should change." it's another thing entirely to actually know what would make it better. I'm of the mind that if you don't have a better idea you shouldn't complain about it being repetitive or an over used concept.

very disappointing. especially if you consider what paragram and q-entertainment gave us in the past.
