Sega announces World Pool 2007

Sega today announced World Pool Championship 2007 for PSP, PS2, Xbox 360 and PS3. Hopefully they'll concentrate on the graphics the upcoming months, considering how it looks compared to Table Tennis. The game will be released this autumn, so they still have time. First images inside.

it almost looks like they were in a lower res and then scaled to 720 as its that bad at the moment.

so many jpg compression artefacts on screen 5.

I got to play 3 hours or so with Rockstar Table Tennis a few days ago and I can tell you it's the bar for Next Gen sports games visually. It looks amazing, never seen such detailed player models and such fluid animations and cloth dynamics. Really fun game too!

Doesn't look any better than Bankshot to me.
Unless it has ALOT more gaming options, this one is a pass for me.

This is from the same company that brought us Virtua Tennis 3 and Virtua Fighter 5, right? Good Lord, did they forget to change the graphics from the PS2 version? Look at Table Tennis if you need an idea of fantastic graphics in a small environment like this.

Blim, the sega e3 site says its only for Ps2 and PSP:

They need some proper real-time shadowing, at least for the next-gen versions.

I'm not going to complain. Never got into any sports games. So doesn't matter really to me what they look like.
