Another two BiA3 images

Another two BiA3 images

Ubisoft today sent out two more images of Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway, showing a grenade launcher shoot sequence. Absolutely the two most impressive-looking BIA screens to me.
Update: Added another two.

Those bicycle look awesome! Hope you can ride around in them gunning people down, haha, it does look great though, not really into WWII shooters but i liked the first two BIA games so i'll definitely be getting this.

Could this game look any better. The explosion on the building looks awesome.

Stuff like the name of a woman on a rocked laucher always gets the kick out of me! That is little detail that i like to see in a Next-Gen game. Great work so far

Ouch.

I seriously hope that the stuff they are showing us is from the game engine and not CG.

It looks soo good :)

Yesterday I was driving through an area with a lot of large, pretty brick houses and it hit me, "Wow, looks just like BiA!" For a moment there I was really impressed... until I realized there was no filtering issues on the side of the house =P I got a good chuckle out of that...

fair and square - these two images are the most impressive I've seen from this game yet. Very nice looking indeed.

I was thinking everything looks great EXCEPT the explosion...

I like the explosion actually.

I think you'd have to see the explosion moving in real-time to see if it was good or not.

Never understood why they take stills of explosions.

My Rocket Launcher's name is "Stella."

Also, how cool is this, he puts the rocket in, and pats the guy on the head to tell him it's loaded. I love little details like that.

what if all these screens being released were not realtime and just CGI? I think nobody would buy the final version then, I know I wouldnt. The only reason I wonder is because of the video released, the gfx are not the same.

It's pretty unlikely they are renders. Jaggies and low-ploy models abound in all the images. If I were releasing renders I'd clean those up before I shipped 'em out. Definately in-game, and not really that unbelievable, especially after seeing Gears of War.

Nice round helmets, ugly fingers....

Nice screenshots again. But we need ingame gameplay footage! :D

Great looking Screenshots, explosion could do with a bit more fire animation, but still the game looks awsome, and the detail on the weapon (the persons name) and the bikes sum up what next gen is for me. Great graphics on everything, not just main game features

My name on a Bazooka… Great… LOL.

About the game

What's up?
  • Melmoth
Melmoth <- Sean Young scene. (19 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth @MrWhite: yea, i think they did a really good job with that scene. At first i tried to remember the shots of her from the original to figure out if they re-used footage before the angles changed more. (20 minutes ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite @Melmoth: Yeah, that's a good point. It's still noticeable, but it's literally so close that any kind of anomaly will be spotted and give that uncanny valley. The rendering though is flawless. (24 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth as for Tarkin, i think they should have gone with the stand-in actor with some make-up/prosthetics. just looking at him in the making-of material he looks close enough. (29 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth @MrWhite: she was kinda stiff/robotic in the original BR too. Like a doll, which they obviously aimed for, which helps sell the 2049 version. (31 minutes ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite The other scenes that had all CG models of the actors and actress were so well done, I didn't realise it was entirely all rendered. Joi for example is almost completely CG overlaid with the actress. (33 minutes ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite Tarkin in Rogue One looked great right up until he started moving and talking. Then it just looked ridiculous. BR's Sean Young is a bit similar, but its only really her mouth moving that I find off (35 minutes ago)
