E3: GRAW downloadable content revealed

E3: GRAW downloadable content revealed

Ubisoft has announced a DLC pack for Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, and that it will be playable this week at their booth at E3. More info about it will be released "soon", and while waiting you can check out this image from it. The explosion in the background looks nice - did it really used to look that good?

Well too bad we will have to pay for it not like the early days of xbox live. Well if it is worth the money than why not as long as it's not along the lines of 200 MP for an armour like Oblivion (or was that 300 MP, I cant remember)

if its not free than thats a rip off....xbox had it for free so i would exspect it to free this time!!

The age of freebies died with the original Xbox, besides that was just a test to see if people would download content and they did so hit em with micro payments.

Yeah, it's a shame really, this should be interesting though since previous GR's have always had downloadable content released for free.

I think some of this might actually be free, they reserved some of the 1000 achievement points for DLC.

Why would I pay for new maps when I still suck at the old ones?

I should be free, because its obviously part of the game because they left free achievement points.

lol some poeple take such a simplistic view..... maybe they put the extra achievements in for when this was developed...

why do people exspect a company to spend thousands of dollars on new maps and give them away? no point harping to the past when there was no micro transaction model to charge for maps.. the publisher would of back then if they could of

People also seem to be missing the main point that it costs MONEY, yes, REAL MONEY, to develop this download content. And no-one is forcing you to download it. It is just there, if you want it, and feel that the extra invesment is worth if for the amount of extra play time you will get with it.

Looks nice. I might get this game in July.

Oh, yes, i'm sure the horse armour for Oblivion cost Bethesda millions to make, hence why they charged for it.

And onto GRAW, the game came with just ten maps as it is, while the previous ones came with 15-20+, go figure.

I hope the add in a lobby system and faster game querying in tandem with this Downloadable pack, that would make the game a diamond.
