E3: Warhawk gameplay

E3: Warhawk gameplay

Here is a video of Warhawk filmed at the Sony booth. For the moment this is the only game using the gyro technology in the PS3 controller. According to the guy playing, the gameplay is excellent using the controller, far less chaotic than anticipated.

It looks like it plays well.
Atleast when your waving your contoller around everywhere (like I do), you'll be actually doing something and people wont think your a complete nut.

you know thats exactly my problem with the stupid tilt thing. Id rather have rumble and the ability to move my hands like an idiot when I turn corners or im trying to make a big jump in a game and my mind thinks moving my hands makes a difference. With the wii your actually pointing the thing at the screen so its different because its not an actual gamepad. But I honestly the think that it detecting when I tilt the controller will actually take stuff away from the gameplay rather than add to it.

well if your worried about the tilt feature when playing games, then just turn it off.. simple really. they have already said for warhawk that if you dont want the tilt you can always goto the controller config and turn it off.

Doom_Bringer @GriftGFX: well Dragon age extracted is suppose to be arround 20 gigs but the download was only 8 gigs or 15 gigs...procedure might be different for newer games (6 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 45 minutes for this game would have to be like... 3+ megabytes per second. My Comcast can't do that. (7 Hours ago)

GriftGFX My FFOW DL is almost 12.9 gigs and like 95% done. (7 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Steam appears to download extracted and installed, there's no install process once you finish downloading a game. (7 Hours ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer D2D file right now is 9.2 GB's. I think it was less when I was downloading it (now its extracted) I am pretty sure Steam works the same way. 12 gb is probably the extracted size :P (7 Hours ago)
