E3: Artworks of Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom

Phantagram's Kingdom Under Fire series is moving on to Xbox 360, in the form of Circle of Doom - to be released in Q2 2007. They are entering new grounds now, making the RTS into an action-RPG title. You can take your offline character to the Xbox Live world and challenge other players, or play coop - or even trade items with them. Another KUF game seems also to be in the works, and here are some artworks from the first next-gen version of the Kingdom Under Fire games.

I hope they give it a decent soundtrack, I didn't dig the heavy metal in the first two games.

Its hardly a reflection of a game that will have many onscreen characters at once but these look definatly interesting........apart from screen number 3 which is quite frankly....disgusting.

Who said they are using the same game engine.. I'd be very surprised if it isn't highly modified.

Didn't the devs say this is a spin-off while the real KuF3 is coming later, think I read it in OXM, anyone else know for sure?

I believe this will be a new engine, 99 Nights was on the old KUF engine.
