Page 1 2 >>Like how this game is shaping up, but the guy playing is either used to invert or just really bad.
"Haven't played" - not didn't
Im new in the forum, but i have been reading you for a long time now.
Well done Blim Blim and snoopers for the great work you'r making sharing your videos from the E3 and all the news and info.
Just a question, do you have any in-game video of The darkness or Bioshock token from the E3?
Greatings from Spain, and sorry for my last post. :)

Wow the person playing can't aim. They are also talking about viva pinata in the back, lol.
cool game :). I like the way they have alien style versions of the standard weapons like the acid gun (i.e. shotgun)

So...tell us, how were they? worth to see?
Thanks again
Basically, I was just blown away. One of the better games of this year's E3.
Btw, these closed presentations at E3 suck badly. What is an industry/press-only treade fair worth if so many publishers behave like this?
Now don't get me wrong, there have been ports to the Xbox 360 - Quake 4 is one of a few examples, most definately. I am not saying Prey is a port or not, but this is the first time I've heard it being called a port. If I'm not mistaken, it is both in development for the PC and 360 at the same time and will be released at the same time, and if this is true then it's clearly NOT a port.
One thing that really pinches a nerve in me even to this day is people saying CoD2 was ported to the Xbox 360. This is not true. If anything, it was ported to the PC! CoD2 in it's very first initial stages of development built for the Xbox 360, and this has been documented. This also shows when you have sites like IGN doing a side-by-side comparison with CoD2 on a high-end PC with the highest graphical/sound settings to that of the 360 on a high-end HD television set and reporting that the 360 version is better as it showed more graphical effects on the screen and so forth, though they did say it was very minimal. So the next time you hear someone say that CoD2 was a port to the 360, first explain how it's not, and then even go on to explain to them how it's been proven to be better on the 360 than a multi $1,000 PC.
With all that said, I have been looking forward to this game a lot, too, and I think it's highly underrated and isn't deserving the hype it should. It will probably sell weak in the beginning but as word goes on that it's a good game (as I believe it will be), I believe it will become a great top-selling title.
Just one more note on the whole "port" thing -- I really wish that when games -are- actually ported, such as Quake 4, that the media, if they must mention that notion, put it into different words; such as: Quake 4 from the PC was "brought over" to the Xbox 360. It makes it sound a lot less derogatory and puts a more neutral/positive spin on it. When most people hear "port" they usually lose a little if not a lot of interest.
I just thought I'd chime in my comments. Have a great day! :)

So yes it is a Port weather you like it or not.

That was the whole concept of XNA in the first place, was for MS to allow developers to develop games for both the PC and the Xbox/Xbox360 at the same time without either being a port.
So again, I am sorry, but it is not a port.
It is neither being ported to the PC nor the Xbox 360 -- it's being developed using the same tools for both platforms at the same time, thus neither version is a port. It's just remarkable you can't comprehend this. Not to mention, if you call the 360 version a port, then I would be just as justified to call the PC version a port.
You clearly just cannot admit the fact that you are incorrect.
Back on topic of the game, however, I would like to say I've seen more videos in the last fifteen minutes and images and I'm even more excited about this game. I really do believe it will be a brilliant title.
EDIT: I misread the release date which, again, is the same for the PC and 360 at this point in time and no, it is not to be released within a few weeks of either GoW nor GTA4. That is my mistake, but good at that because now I can look forward to it in July. :)
