Artwork and image of Medal of Honor: Airborne

Medal of Honor: Airborne wasn't playable or even really seen during E3, but it's back already with this artwork of jeep, along with its ingame version

bah, the jeep looks really old. they could polish and wax their models like the one in PGR3.
who will buy a game with such lazy washed cars?

The second one looks pretty amazing. Much better than the model only picture. Hooray for per pixel shading?

Can't believe that's ingame :o

I'm curious if this game will recapture the MOHAA feel since after MOHAA the series went downhill FAST. I guess losing the majority of the team to form Infinity Ward (and the CoD series) really hurt them.

I'm pretty sure the in-game version is the jeep with the black background, and the artwork is the jeep with the jet and terrain and all that other stuff.

i hope the second pic is ingame...the jeep in first pic looks worse than jeeps in original call of duty for pc

Yeah. Nice render the second picture. But we all know that second picture is not ingame.

Watch the first pic. study the details an then watch the second pic. You know what I mean :)

2nd shot looks like a photograph in the thumbnail. o_O

In the second pic the airplane is made in photoshop, so that would be the "artwork" one!

First pic looks like current gen running on xbox 1, but it will improve as the release date approaches.

It's obvious that none of you understand the hardware of the 360. How much longer do we have to put up with this debate about whether a screenshot is ingame or whether a video or trailer is rendered in realtime. It's really getting old. Games on the 360 are already making the launch titles look like yesterdays news and you people still doubt the smallest things. Let's move on, people.

I do not believe, thats really ingame on a 360. I hope so...but look at the lighting, the softshadows (especially the half-transparent shadow of the front window), the level of detail and Depth of Field, .... If the game will really look like that....its amazing!!! The wall between game and realism becomes smaller and smaller ;-)

its amazing how confused people are about which titles are on which platform actually. Loads of sites for instance put bioshock as a ps3 game. And looking around at all the info I found about it, its 360 and pc only. In a march edition of game informer it cleary says 360 and PC only. Then at e3 there was a rumour and now everyone thinks its out for the ps3. In the ps2 and xbox generation you could easily tell which games are on which. The nextgen seems to be a few exclusives and then the rest on both. Im not complaining like it means I dont need to buy a ps3 lol. I reckon the 2nd shot is in engine but when they put other stuff in the engine they will need to tone it down a bit to keep framerates stable.

The second pic is not ingame. Just look at the antialiasing. What is that - 16x AA?

Just to clarify: the left one was released as the artwork, while the right one is the screenshot according to EA.

The second pic is actualy ingame but it rendered whit a monster pc.

It'll be classic EA and look pretty bad when you actually see the game in motion with no texturing.
Commented on 2006-05-23 21:40:20
Um... Look REALLy close. The jeep model is the exact same in both pics, look at the poly count around the hood, wheels, and that thing just above the front driver side tire... So the 2nd pic very well could be in game...

The second pic is in game- it's not that hard to believe. Look at games like Offset and BIA:HH and you can completely believe that as in game shot. It's amazing to see what just good lighting and shadows will do to a game.

The first one has low rez textures. Look at the axe next to the jeep. It does not even have normal colors in the first pic. The second one is cool. But i still dun believe this is ingame. Sorry.
