Images of Frontlines: Fuel of War

THQ has released a couple of images and artworks of Frontlines: Fuels of War, to be released on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. The game seems to be something similar to Battlefield 2 on many levels, and there's supposed to be over 60 vehicles and weapons (probably combined) - neat stuff!

lol just like my point, it needs to do something new otherwise it will be another run of the mill war game.
I don't need every game I buy to do something new but I do need to be entertained and feel like spending the money wasn't a waste.

People are hung up on this "Ohh, games need to do something new every time" idea and I totally disagree, I'm happy to play "run of the mill war game" as long as it's fun and I've escaped from my real world life for a little while.

Anyone play Desert Combat for Battlefield 1942? The Kaos Studios team used to be Trauma Studios. We all know how good DC was, just imagine what this is gonna be like.

Environments look really bland though. Hopefully the gameplay is polished up to a BF 2 level.

I believe I read that the environments will have a high level of destructibility.

Really? Ok then I'm a bit interested. Enemy Territory...Quake :( BF2 1.42. :( I need my Battlefield fix and both of those are lacking in one way or the other, so here's to hoping Frontlines will give me what I need. 2006 release?
